“Vui Xuân Cùng VFC – Welcoming The Lunar New Year Of The Cat 2023” program for disadvantaged farmers

On 29 December, at Dong Thap Radio – Television Station, Vietnam Fumigation Joint Stock Company (VFC) held a press conference to announce the program “Vui Xuân Cùng VFC – Welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023”.

Although 2022 brought many challenges and direct impacts on Vietnamese agriculture and farmers, it was an especially memorable and pivotal year for VFC—a milestone year in its journey to “Rise to New Heights”, affirming its leading position in the agrochemical market in Vietnam after nearly 50 years of “formation and development”.

Having accompanied agriculture and farmers for more than 30 years, VFC deeply understands that many Vietnamese farmers still face adversity—from production constraints to daily livelihood challenges.

For this reason, over the past 10 years, every Lunar New Year, the “Vui Xuân Cùng VFC” program has been relaunched to provide timely essential gifts to disadvantaged farmers, helping them enjoy a warmer and more fulfilling Tet.

Over the past decade, VFC has implemented many practical and humanitarian programs such as “Cataract Surgery – Restoring Sight for Thousands of Poor Patients”; the “Hoa Lúa Scholarship Program” – providing meaningful scholarships for disadvantaged pupils and students to support their continued education; the “Kindergarten Construction Program” for children in border areas of Dong Thap and in the northern mountainous regions; as well as many other meaningful charity initiatives.

In 2021 alone, VFC carried out several timely programs to join hands with the community in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic and in addressing the aftermath of storms and floods in Central Vietnam.

In 2023, the “Vui Xuân Cùng VFC” program will present a total of 9,000 gift packages, with an overall budget of nearly VND 3 billion, to beneficiaries in over 20 provinces and cities nationwide.

Thinking as farmers and always standing in the farmers’ position, VFC understands that every positive action it takes is a message of gratitude to the farming community, who have been steadfast companions throughout every stage of VFC’s development.

On the threshold of the new year, VFC wishes all valued customers and farmers prosperity in all endeavors and bountiful harvests.
