VFC–SYNGENTA strategic partnership signing ceremony: Elevating Cooperation, Stepping Confidently Into The Future

Speaking at the strategic partnership signing ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Vu – General Director of Syngenta Vietnam – said this was an opportunity to look back on the achievements and results of the year, as well as those obtained through the cooperation between the two companies – two companions, two partners who have been closely connected over the past 25 years. And today, we gather here to elevate this cooperation to a new level – becoming strategic partners.
“Vietnamese agriculture has become a bright spot in the national economy in recent years. Products like Anvil, Ridomil Gold, Tervigo… have become very familiar to farmers. This has been possible thanks to the cooperation, companionship and support of our partner VFC, who has worked with us to bring these products to farmers,” Mr. Vu emphasized.
To further strengthen the cooperation between the two companies and enhance their joint efforts as a bridge to deliver products to farmers, Syngenta Vietnam and VFC have decided to elevate their relationship to that of strategic partners.

Regarding the strategic partnership signing with Syngenta, Mr. Truong Cong Cu, General Director of VFC, shared that in the company’s upcoming development strategy, farmers are identified as the central factor, while the application of advanced solutions and high-quality products based on Syngenta technology is seen as a breakthrough element. In particular, VFC focuses on cooperation in applying scientific and technological advances to farmers’ actual production, in order to adapt to the impacts of climate change and protect our living environment.
“VFC hopes that the strategic partnership with Syngenta, together with the companionship and support of PAN Group, the backing of the Plant Protection Department and, most importantly, the trust of farmers, will be a powerful driving force and source of energy for VFC on the journey towards sustainable development for Vietnamese agriculture and farmers,” Mr. Cu shared.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra My, CEO of The PAN Group, also shared: “The strategic partnership agreement between VFC and Syngenta will open a new chapter for VFC on its journey to becoming a leading company in the crop protection sector.” She added that the decision by both companies to elevate their relationship today is an important step in their business development strategies, creating opportunities to introduce more strategic products with new active ingredients and advanced production technologies that ensure high pest control efficacy, safety for crops and the environment, and benefits for Vietnamese agriculture and farmers, while working with PAN Group to realize the goal and aspiration of elevating Vietnamese agriculture.
However, according to the PAN Group CEO, the most important point is that PAN’s highest guiding principle is sustainable development, with farmers at the center. “We are steadfast in the view that effective business development must go hand in hand with creating a better life for farmers and preserving the environment for future generations. Elevating Vietnamese agricultural products to their rightful position both domestically and internationally – that, in simple terms, is what sustainable development means to us.”
“The signing of this strategic partnership with Syngenta – a leading global group in agriculture – will help VFC realize this sustainable development objective,” Ms. My emphasized.

Sharing further about upcoming activities under the partnership framework, Mr. Vu said: “From 25 February, VFC will begin distributing two of Syngenta’s key strategic products for crop loss management: Amistar Top and Virtako.” With the shared principle of continuing to place farmers at the center, both parties will work together to bring more advanced solutions, thereby meeting farmers’ expectations and seizing every opportunity to support farming households, helping them improve yield and quality, meet increasingly demanding consumer requirements and take Vietnamese agricultural products further into global markets.
